AdTech & MarTech Consultant/Architect (Privacy & Consent)

Experienced Technical Consultant/Architect with solid experience in the AdTech & MarTech Domain.

Strong privacy and consent expertise to lead the design and integration of privacy-centric digital marketing and data activation platforms.

You will bridge marketing technology, data governance, privacy compliance, ensuring regulatory requirements and consent principles are Embedded in platform design, data flows, audience strategies, and measurement capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture

  • Architect and oversee integration of AdTech and MarTech solutions, including CDPs, consent platforms, identity & tagging stacks and activation pipelines.
  • Assess architectures covering tagging, event tracking, attribution, experimentation, audience management and media integrations.
  • Data flows, system interactions and integration patterns across first-party, third-party and cloud-based platforms.
  • Establish guardrails for data use, identity, cookies, measurement, tracking and consent enforcement.

Privacy & Consent

  • Ensure privacy principles (GDPR, PECR, ePrivacy, ICO guidance) and consent controls into architecture and data pipelines.
  • Ensure compliant audience segmentation, targeting, data enrichment, and cross-channel tracking strategies.
  • Guide the implementation of CMPs (Consent Management Platforms), consent signals (TCF), and privacy-centric tagging frameworks.
  • Validate solutions post-deployment to ensure privacy, data minimisation, and lawful processing requirements are met.

Engineering & Delivery Leadership

  • Work closely with engineering squads, Solution Architects, Product and Legal to translate policy into technical design.
  • Support agile delivery processes, providing architecture guidance during PI planning and delivery cycles.
  • Review partner/vendor solutions, SDKs and platform upgrades for privacy and data-use compliance.
  • Contribute to engineering standards for consent, identity, tagging, server-side collection and activation workflows.

Essential

  • Proven architect background within AdTech/MarTech ecosystems.
  • Strong experience with: CDPs (eg, mParticle, Tealium, Adobe, Segment, Salesforce)
  • Consent & identity platforms (CMPs, TCF, IAB frameworks, ID graphs, IDFA/GAID)
  • Tagging & tracking stacks (GTM, Tealium, server-side tagging, event streams)
  • Media platforms, analytics, attribution and measurement solutions
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and event-driven data pipelines.
