apigee Devsecops specialist, initial 4-month contract with a leading financial services organisation. This role will be fully remote for the next 3 months at least. This is working as part of a team working on a large scale digital transformation.
Experience:
- Designing and architecting complex, enterprise-level infrastructure used by millions of customers
- Knowledge of APIGEE infrastructure and Best practices
- Building and Maintaining APIGEE Edge components and Developer Portal (infrastructure/platform build)
- Zero downtime upgrades and patching of APIGEE components
- APIGEE component level Autoscaling to cater high volumes
- Strong background on Load balancers, Nginx and Webservers
- Building Monitoring (Both component and platform) setup and Platform level performance tuning
- Building and maintaining multi-stage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, JIRA, GIT, Veracode and Nexus/Artifactory
- Managing cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, Azure and GCP using Kubernetes (K8s), EKS, GKE and AKS
- Implementing APIGEE proxies, API security and API development best practices
- Implementing microservices following 12-factor and cloud native approaches
- Automating infrastructure using cloud abstraction and deployment tools like Ansible, KOPs and Terraform
- Assisting polyglot teams that use JavaScript, .NET, golang, Rust, node.js and an event-based architecture on Kafka/Confluent
- Adhering to security and test protocols
- Working on Linux distributions like RHEL, CoreOS and CentOS
- Proactively monitoring and resolving platform issues
