AWS Cloud Architect, Lambda, Serverless, WFH
Staffworx are hiring for an experienced AWS Solution Architect with strong technical understanding of AWS Lambda Serverless solutions, you’ll be working with major online retail clients on latest microservices ecommerce software solutions.
A leading software solution provider looking for experienced AWS Solutions Architect
The solutions architect would be working with the senior technical teams to define enterprise client s requirements, architecting cloud native solutions with a particular responsibility for cloud Serverless architecture as part of eCommerce transformation projects for a leading online retail and consumer products clients.
The Role:
- Translating client s requirements (functional and non-functional) into cloud native solutions, incorporating best practices as well as aligning with client s strategy and compliance
- Leveraging Lambda Serverless services to deliver effective, cost efficient, secure solutions
- Work with ecommerce software engineering teams to design and implement cloud platforms and automation pipelines to support solution hosting, integration and delivery
- Support all aspects of the engagement lifecycle, from providing technical advice in pre-sales meetings to governance and oversight in the platform/solutions delivery process
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience designing large and complex AWS solutions, with specific projects involving the Serverless stack; Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo DB, AWS IAM etc
- Strong foundational application development skills, proficient programming in one or more high level languages Python, NodeJS, Java, Kotlin, TypeScript.
- AWS Core experience ideally utilising infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Stakeholder or client facing project/requirement definition
- Serverless (Lambda)
Beneficial:
- AWS Certifications
- Client facing consultancy as an architect, lead developer or solutions engineer
- Terraform or CloudFormation infrastructure as code-based deployment
- Jenkins, CodePipeline, CI/CD pipelines, CodeBuild
- B2C digital transformation programmes, ideally in online retail/eCommerce or Direct to Consumer initiatives.
