Agile Digital Business Analyst – mobile PWA (progressive web applications) – London

Experience:

  • 3-5 years project delivery, acting in the capacity of an Agile Business Analyst
  • Solid background in with Digital projects, preferably PWA, else Mobile (Android & iOS)
  • Practitioner of Agile techniques, like BDD, MoSCoW Prioritisation, Poker Planning
  • Fluent with online collaboration tools, like JIRA, Confluence, Slack, etc.
  • Detailed knowledge of business analysis tasks, experience in elicitation techniques and competent in requirements gathering skills
  • Team focused, with strong leadership and attitude to continuously learn and develop themselves and others
  • Commercially customer-centric, with strong and proactive stakeholder management, engagement and negotiation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Absorbs information quickly and acts accordingly
  • Proactive in discussing solutions and raising ideas
  • Builds strong relationships, both internally and externally
  • Planning and organisation skills with attention to detail, timeliness and planning of tasks in order to meet deadlines
  • Exposure to Financial Services industry
  • Experience working in distributed teams
  • Formal education in IT related field, like business information systems, computer science or software engineering
  • Certification in Agile courses or frameworks, like Scrum, SAFe and LeSS

Accountabilities:

  • Work with project stakeholders to elicit, analyse and synthesise business requirements that are fit for purpose
  • Understand and communicate organisational context
  • Work efficiently with the customer recommending appropriate stakeholders to be involved with elicitation activities
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate requirements clearly and concisely
  • Validate requirements with the customer and the project team and provide input to ensure that proposed solutions meet customer expectations
  • Elicit, document and manage the requirements throughout the project
  • Lead key meetings, like requirements elicitation sessions, requirements communications sessions, and showcases
  • Ensure cross-team dependencies are identified and managed appropriately
  • Prioritise conflicting needs, and manage expectations of the team to outward facing stakeholders, regarding delivery scope, cost, quality and time
  • Effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders throughout delivery to ensure a common and consistent understanding of the project’s objective
  • Understand overall solution design and high-level architecture to ensure dependencies are known and consistency is maintained
  • Support the analysis of project and program risks and issues, adhere to change control processes and requirements traceability throughout the life of the project or program in accordance with established effective document management
  • Analyses the root causes of a problem and ID’s possible solutions
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise accordingly; anticipates roadblocks and accurately scopes out length and difficulty of task/project; demonstrates flexibility where required; works to agreed priorities
