Cloud Native API Microservices Solution Architect (online commerce)
Experienced API Cloud Native solutions architect for next generation composable commerce solution, based on commercetools (commerce engine). Composable commerce architecture including products such as Algolia (CMS), Amplience (Search), integration layers, Storefronts etc
Experience needed
- 5-8 years at architect/lead engineering level developing software in a highly challenging technical enterprise environment
- Experience as a Solution architect, architectural advisory within a cloud-native and/or E-commerce environment
- Proficient in Typescript
- Demonstrable experience in developing API First, composable, headless applications (or microservice-based architectures)
- Experience developing using event driven architecture
- Demonstrable experience with CloudNative services AWS
- CI/CD in a microservice environment (mono repo, AWS CDK, AWS code pipeline, AWS code build etc)
- Experience with a commerce platform (commercetools experience is a plus)
- Deep knowledge of best practices in developing for the web
- event driven architecture and using cloud native tools building extensive business capabilities
- extending commercetools data models and business logic in an API first cloud native way
- write unit tests and integrations tests (mainly written in Jest)
- writing business critical performant application logic
- performing code reviews, estimations
- sharing knowledge of composable commerce and cloud native technologies with the wider team
