Staffworx are hiring for an experienced NoSQL DBA (ideally Couchbase) NoSQL Database Consultant working with leading enterprise client on latest enterprise software platform.
- Commercial experience as NoSQL DBA (ideally Couchbase, alternatively MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, MarkLogic, RavenDB, Redis, IBM Cloudant etc)
- Production & Development environments experience
- Logical and physical database architecture
- Automation, virtualisation/containerisation technologies such as VMware, Docker, Kubernetes
- NoSQL DB Performance Tuning
- AWS or Azure experience is a plus
- NoSQL XDCR replication
- Kafka, Elastic Search, Java or Scala beneficial
- Good SQL, N1QL, SQL++, JSON
- multi-dimensional scaling, caching, indexing
- OLTP, DWH experience such us AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, Couchbase, MongoDB or Cassandra

- remote contract, 1-2 site visits per month, outside IR35
