Manage the day to day digital marketing activity for our customer facing App, delivering planned user growth through effective and creative marketing activities. About the role
- Operational control of the direct response digital marketing channels to the app including paid search, affiliates, email, instore call-to-action, and any other channels which can be used for onboarding new customers to our app
- Own the digital marketing budget for the app, including testing – spend it like it was your own money
- Manage partners and agencies to deliver maximise benefit and efficiency
- Building and owning the roadmap of activity which aligns with the business goalsProduce insights to monitor performance and build on the future roadmap of activities
- Deliver against the App strategy whilst continuously creating and experimenting with new channels and campaignsDrive the customer focused agenda, raising awareness of the Apps benefits and reasons to download
- Develop the audience strategy across channels to improve relevance and targeting of advertising
- Monitor and evaluate competitor approaches, and industry trends to inform digital marketing activity
- This role will sit within the digital marketing team however will be a diverse and cross-functional position, working closely with the App Product Manager and App Merchandiser
About you
- Experienced in working with retail Apps
- A background in ecommerce and an understanding of digital and retail shopper behaviours
- Capable of managing and executing a broad spectrum of tasks and actions concurrently
- Possess strong communication and influencing skills, adaptable across levels
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and requests
- A broad understanding of marketing software, including those that support advertising, bidding, attribution, reporting, optimisation, market performance etc.
- Able to use Excel and effectively produce roadmaps of activity
- Ability to analyse data and make recommendations for change
- Must have experience of using web analytics platforms (Google Analytics)
