Client facing Business Analyst, eCommerce

As a client facing business analyst, you’ll bring your transferable requirements gathering skills to the market leading solutions provider, specialising in cutting edge retail headless commerce working either out of the Reading office or based from home, with flexible working and an excellent work life balance you’ll be working on working on cutting edge REST API solutions that allow customers to integrate ecommerce into their products, services,and websites in unique and cutting-edge ways.

The Role

  • Assist with the transition of projects from Sales to Professional Services beginning at the discovery phase all the way through implementation
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Elicit, analyse and document the client’s or Partners business requirements
  • Create appropriate requirements specification documentation as required to support the Agile development processes
  • Provide ecommerce, deep functional and technical application expertise to our clients
  • Proactively seek and identify new opportunities where we can offer additional services and potentially support the sales team in closing target clients
  • Work as part of a team to define gap analysis and estimates
  • Work with software delivery team (QA, architects and developers) to complete implementation of requirements.
  • Coordinate business user feedback on a per iteration basis


  • 3-5 years’ experience as a full time business analyst in a consulting or software product environment
  • 5 plus years’ experience in technology
  • Ecommerce experience is a definite asset
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Technical or related discipline
  • Experience of the full software development life cycle, using agile methodologies
  • Experience eliciting and capturing business requirements using Use Cases and User Stories
  • Skilled at delivering solutions involving enterprise application integrations
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of product development and user interface design is an asset
  • Best practices knowledge in digital operations, gaming, telcos, marketing, fulfillment, media or analytics would be beneficial
