Java Developer with strong core java, spring boot, api, microservices experience. Remote working

3-6 months initial contracts to work on a project at a leading digital banking programme. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices & APIs.

Requirements

  • Core Java, SpringBoot, Spring Cloud
  • Developing Microservices (using SpringBoot/sync & async requests)
  • API security; pre-flight requests, concepts such as cors, csrf, tls, ssl etc
  • Event driven architecture (RabbitMq, Kafka parallelism etc)
  • Experienced in Service Collaboration
  • Experienced in SQL, noSQL databases, availability, partitioning etc
  • Knowledge on Containerization (writing Docker files) & Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Can create/extend CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins or Maven

Good to have

  • Understanding on API management (proxies, policies)
  • Knowledge on Logging, Log aggregation, monitoring
  • Working experience on Cloud

Remote working for foreseeable future. Contract will fall within scope of IR35, so umbrella company will need to be engaged.
