Leading Retailer looking to carry out an in-store time & motion study to improve their effectiveness & efficiency in store
- Experience in carrying out research such as a Time & Motion study
- Understand key in-store processes and practices
- Good retail knowledge preferably in the fashion/apparel/jewellery
- Understanding of retail technologies and systems
- Retail operations background
- Analyse findings, understand insights putting forward an actionable plan
- Core business analysis & business process mapping skills
- Experience in change management, rolling out new processes and ensuring adoption.
- Investigate why transaction time is above average
- The aim is to understand why, by monitoring their in-store selling and non-selling activities
- These should be analysed to understand where improvements need to be made
- This can cover both physical activities (such as receiving stock) and those using in-store tech and applications (mpos, cpos, queue management etc.)
- Carry out a study and document findings to the Retail Ops team and deploy and embed these suggestions across their network of stores
