Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and a background in RPA (Blue Prism Robotic Process Automation) and Financial Services.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Requirements Capture includes working with Stakeholder Groups and Working Groups to capture functional and non-functional requirements
- Process and activity flow mapping, includes Functional & Non-functional Epics, user stories mapped to Macro Level Journeys
- Working with the Product Owner to create Product Backlog, review and ensure backlog is up to date and risks and concerns are prioritized
- Ability to slice Epics into user stories
- Defining the Acceptance Criteria for all User Stories
- Working with the Product Owner to review and close all open issues/dependencies
- Working with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to define the high-level scope & goals for each Sprint
- Working with the Architects to align the epics and user stories to the macros and micro level journeys and sequence diagrams
- Stakeholder workshops including Product Owner, Architects, IT teams, Scrum Masters, Developers and Testers in order to understand business and technical needs required to support service being designed
- Production of Business and Systems Requirements Catalogues
Skills:
- Strong understanding of automation (Blue Prism Technology)
- Experience in process capture, process mapping (Visio)
- Has strong communication skills and is very good at gathering process information from SMEs, focusing on all paths through the process
- Has been exposed to testing in a software delivery project and can liaise with the Business Unit to obtain testing data which covers the set of scenarios as part of the gathered requirements
- Requirements gathering in an agile way (eg epics, stories etc)
- Experience as a BA in an RPA project
