SCRUM Master, London, Contract, Agile – SCRUM Master to join one of our digital programmes, coming for digital FS or banking background and has extensive experience handling an agile software delivery team.
Candidate responsibilities:
- Lead teams to successfully deliver customer experience and engineering solutions including experience management, ecommerce, customer data, cloud, and microservice platforms that exceed client expectations.
- Identify and realise business outcomes through the use of agile methods, processes, and tools tailored for the team s experience and client environment to ensure projects are delivering transformative outcomes.
- Organise and lead ongoing team planning and retrospective sessions to identify key risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams.
- Coaching the team in self-organization and cross-functionality
- Removing impediments to the team’s progress to its sprint commitments
- Facilitating scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
- Enacting change & continuous improvement to increase the productivity of the team and quality of deliverables
- Coaching the team in organizational environments in which scrum is not yet fully adopted
- Ensure team execution and delivery to committed sprint work
- Protect team from over-commitment
Service to the Product Owner:
- Expertise in Agile delivery methods: Scrum or Kanban or Scaled Agile Framework.
- Understanding of design thinking fundamentals, systems design, product design, value-based framing.
- Proficient with collaboration tools including Atlassian Jira and Confluence, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management
- Creates forum for communicating vision, goals, and Product Backlog items to the team
- Teaching the team to create clear and concise Backlog items
- Leading and coaching the organization in its scrum adoption
- Planning scrum implementations within the organization
- Helping associates and stakeholders understand and enact scrum in their lines of business
- Identify, manage, help mitigate project issues and risks
- Working with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of scrum in the organization
- Compliance with policies for project delivery
Skills Required:
- agile delivery team & SCRUM certification
- Prior experience in managing development teams deploying to Google Cloud Platform
- capabilities delivery with a focus on one or more platform’s systems and operations
- agile software development methods, including scrum and Kanban
- Strong communication & facilitation Skills
- working on Digital transformation programs
- Agile Methodologies
Preferred Required:
- Technical software development background
Remote working for foreseeable future, Contract will fall within scope of IR35, so umbrella company will need to be engaged.
