Senior DevOps Engineer / Consultant (move into Blockchain / Crypto) – Azure, AWS, GCP, K8S, Ansible, Terraform
Leading provider fintech software products and solutions, looking for experienced senior client facing devops engineer with strengths in latest DevOps driven software architectures incorporating latest cloud based distributed systems, an interest in blockchain / crypto currencies beneficial, but key is strong customer oriented DevOps Engineer with a passion for software engineering deployment and solution building.
As a Senior DevOps Solutions Engineer and client facing consultant, you will be part of the services team, helping to implement and operate complex deployments of our distributed financial services systems with our high profile financial customers.
You will leverage your extensive expertise in Cloud infrastructure and java cloud systems devops help our customers operate reliably in the Cloud.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer who is focused on software and operations, you will be responsible for the devops best practice, architecture, design, will be the go-to expert for our cloud technologies and build of infrastructure to run customer solutions, covering Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform
Experience:
- Demonstrated commercial experience with medium to large scale Kubernetes deployments
- Experience with taking an infrastructure deployment from inception to production
- Strong Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud)
- Experience with scripting languages as well as a polyglot attitude that welcomes picking up new languages if necessary (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with concerns of site reliability, metrics, monitoring, alerting
- setup and management of platforms such as Kubernetes, Terraform, OpenShift, Ansible, Docker, YAML, JSON
- IaaS, PaaS implementations on public cloud
- CI/CD pipelines using best-in-class tools for build, code quality, application quality, validation and monitoring
- Experience with decentralised systems such as Blockchain, distributed ledgers, crypto
Desirable skills:
- Experience in Trade Finance or Capital Markets.
- Experience in the payments space.
- Previous development of blockchain or distributed ledger technologies and an understanding of distributed architecture.
